Just out of curiosity, how is MIT better than UVa and UPenn for Political Science?

All the rest in your groupings sounds right though.

butchokoy, MIT has an excellent Political Science department.

Wabab, OSU has an excellent Political Science department, but #4 is a tad high. The LSE isn't the most reliable source for US rankings...anymore than a US institution would be at ranking Chinese or French universities.

Well, not that I'm an apologist for OSU or anything, or that I really even have strong feelings for it, but really, you do have to give credit where due. #4 is a tad high? Considering it ranks higher than many Ivies and other top tier schools (especially compared to your own ranking), your statement is kind of... ridiculous, and reveals a blatant bias. And while I'm no expert on the LSE, I'm also no expert on your credentials for evaluating the LSE.

I'm not trying to attack you, but I find your post quite arbitrary and so biased it might even be a troll post.

Yale, George Washington, Harvard, Georgetown, SUNY @Albany, Cornell

in that order

The University of Rochester currently has the top ranked graduate poli sci department in the nation.

Rocherster is excellent in PS, but the top spot belongs to Harvard.
