Hi, can you guys analyze and rank these schools based on their polysci program? prestige/name-brand (big factor for me), internships, quality, and etc are factors that matter to me the most.
schools:
Emory
UNC Chapel Hill
UGA
GWashington
NYU
Cornell (the government department)
Tulane
TL;DR - In what order would you prefer these schools above for political science and why?
Well, considering George Washington is in the DC area, that could come with a lot of internship opportunities in your field of choice.
Ok I’ll play along. This my ranking according to where I would go - knowing what I know now about life in general. Wow. That’s a bit of a tongue twister. Lol
FYI this has nothing to do with accepted norms groupthink or usnwr rankings. You already know the answer to those questions. Validation is not my goal. Good honest advice. And with absolutely no idea about poly sci as a career, numbers of PhD candidates, or your preferences/aspirations.
