I want to know which books offer the best practice (other than BB obviously), along with model tests. I have the whole summer ahead of me for preparing. Maybe not so much Math, but CR most importantly. I wanted to go for Barrons 2400 but its out of stock on Amazon and the new edition isnt out until August. How is Rocket Review? </p>

<p>Great job on math blakpanther987. You should obviously focus on CR. For Critical Reading use the BB and also order PSATs from the College Board Store. For vocabulary check out the thread Best Vocabulary List - Results and Recommendations. Very interesting results pointing to PR's Hit Parade and Direct Hits Vocabulary as the best places to start. <p>like ^said, u need to improve cr, i'd recommend grammatix. the cr strategies are incredibly amazing! i didn't realize how easy cr became after i practice many passages with its approach.</p>

<p>Best practice tests outside of CB ones are Princeton Review's. Get Cracking the SAT if you want strategy and some tests or 11 Practice Tests if you only need more tests. PR is great for verbal esp.</p>

<p>I bought the Barron's 2400 book and was really disappointed- I didn't feel like it told me anything I hadn't seen in the regular Barron's book. I ended up not relying on it at all, and I got an 800 on CR. So, I really wouldn't recommend it at all. Good luck!</p>

<p>i wouldn't recommend kaplans. their tests are diff from cb's . just use cb sources,they're the most reliable ones =p
