I am thinking of applying to most schools in Florida and I am wondering which are the best schools with these programs.

For Pre-med:

Most of the better schools (private and public) are fine for Pre-med. It’s helpful if the school has an associated medical school or is located near several hospitals, as this would help on EC’s. Here’s a link to UM’s class of 2018: See how many students came from in-state and from which schools.

http://admissions.med.miami.edu/md-programs/general-md/class-profile

Notice that folks who majored in English and Music got in. What matters is GPA/MCAT score, EC’s, etc. Try to avoid too much debt when working on a pre-med path.

For Computer Engineering and Computer Science.

Only the following schools have ABET accredited Computer Engineering programs:

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University - Daytona Beach
Florida A&M University Tallahassee, FL, US
Florida Atlantic University Boca Raton, FL, US
Florida Institute of Technology Melbourne, FL, US
Florida International University Miami, FL, US
Florida State University Tallahassee, FL, US
University of Central Florida Orlando, FL, US
University of Florida Gainesville, FL, US
University of Miami Coral Gables, FL, US
University of South Florida Tampa, FL, US
University of West Florida Pensacola, FL, US

UF has the “best” program, but several of the other schools also have competitive programs (UCF, and USF for example).

Far more schools offer Computer Sciences, so you can have your pick. Start with the list above.

Good Luck!

I am thinking that the best choice for me is UF as like you said, it has a really good program and it also has a medical school, also one of the best in florida.
