Right now I am reading "Get Into Medical School" another good book I read I forgot the title.

I am going to look on amazon too but has any one found any really good or particularly relevant premed books?

i am really looking for something that takes about the journey, things you need to get into medical school, different specialities, life of a med students, etc.

And no I never really watched "The Residents" i wanted to but it never came on at a good time.

"The Residents" was a show on discovery health channel about med students in their clinical residence. It was actually pretty cool, I really liked it. You really got a feel for what the students were doing. (It is a reality show). I remember that there was even like drama at some points.

Better than Greys and REAL life! I am not sure if it is still on.

For any one interested i picked up two premed books today that it hought were pretty cool

tha yale guide to careers in medicine and the health professions (which goes alot deeper than the title would suggest) - for people interested in learning more about the journey, specialities and what its like to be a physician, nurse, etc etc

and getting into medical school by sanford brown (written by a doctor)

Wow I couldnt believe that I could not find any information about this show on the discovery health channel website but I did find some information on some other websites... It seems like it was actually a mini series and it was not called "The Residents" but med school (maybe they changed thename ??!!)
