I am currently a National Merit Semifinalist, and I need the money offered by the schools to the finalists to put me through undergrad. I'm going into Pre med, and if I am lucky enough to become a finalist fingers crossed I was wondering what the top pre med schools were offering full rides/tuition.

(For me, Top pre med = best chance of getting accepted to top med school). I was primarily looking at Baylor and Michigan State. How highly esteemed is MSU's pre med program? What other programs on the list are strong pre med schools?

You should be looking at schools that offer tuition+ or full-ride for NM Finalists. I’m not aware that MSU or Baylor offer those types of merit scholarships for NM Finalists.

Search this forum for threads about schools that offer such scholarships.

U Oklahoma and U Alabama are two such schools. Oklahoma has a medical school and many students who accept their NM scholarships have their sights set on this. The Honors college at OU has a medical humanities program in which many of the premed honors students participate.

Top pre-med =/= best chance to get into medical school. Both schools are fine, as would Ohio State, Florida. and any of the other full ride universities.
