The general consensus is Princeton Review.

I really liked PR for chemistry. Also, if you can get your hands on the Brown/Lemay textbook I though this was really good for getting down those tough concepts, and Masterson/Hurley is good for those random concepts.

Princeton Review. Also used the Brown/Lemay textbook and got a 5 easy..

I self studied with Princeton review and Brown/Lemay and got a 5. Supplement it with Cliffs for help on labs and extra practice with the math.

I used PR. Along with a crapload of previous FRQs, Raymond Chang's Seventh Edition, a great teacher, and work ethic, I got a five.

How abouT Zumdahl + PR?
Because our school uses Zumdahl textbook
in the class already, so. Would that
give me a fair chance to get 5?
Zumdahl + PR?

I used Zumdahl + Barron's + Sparknotes Power Pack
I got 4. The rest of my class failed though. So that my advice with a grain of salt...

I had PR and personally, I think the book is too shallow and skims alot of the material. I didn't like it and stuck to the Brown/LeMay and past tests

zumdahl is fine, just be aware he sometimes glosses over important stuff on the AP and spends a lot of time on stuff not on the AP. As long as you're using other review books you should be ok.

I concur with PR being best, but it's been a couple of years now since I finished AP's and things could have changed.

just use PR.. its enough.. and to get the feel of the exams, do the past year fr questions available on collegeboard. honestly, i self studied (international student here who doesnt have the luxury of taking AP classes) for both phys C, Chem and Calc BC in 3 months through ref books like barrons, PR and Acro.. believe me, i couldnt even answer any fr questions at the begining when i registered for the exam.. and after 3 months, through the help of those books, i was ready for the test and scored 5 in all subjects..

So is Masterson/Hurley good? Is that and PR enough material for a 5? That is the text we are using.

My school uses zumdahl. Will that + PR be enough, or is it a flawed text book like some people who took it last year seemed to think?

In my experience, the Princeton Review books are just concise enough to be reviewed or self-studied quickly, while still comprehensive enough to get you a 5. If you really want more practice or depth, you could also try Cliffs.
