Best prep book for SAT World History & Literature?

According to previous posts in CC, many people recommend Barron’s for WH because it is comprehensive and detailed. But it seems like it contains some mistakes. Besides, PR and Kaplan’s books are somewhat similar for they are easy-to-read, organized but lack some information.

To Literature test, Barron’s is almost enough but its practice questions are far different from those of real tests. Between PR and Kaplan, I found many recommend Kaplan over PR.

Can anyone who has finished these tests give some advice to me. BTW, I am an international student who has no access to prep course so that I need comprehensive materials rather than quick review stuff.

I used the Kaplan book for Lit and got a 760 :slight_smile:

@RandyButternubs what do you think of practice tests in Kaplan book? Are they generally easier than the real test? Thanks!

The Kaplan practice tests were always as difficult or slightly more difficult than the real test. Also, my scores on the Kaplan tests ranged from 720-780, so it’s a great predictor of your actual score.
