Hi I'm taking AP Calculus A/B and AP English Literature and Composition and I want to get a five. I also know that getting a five cannot not be easily achieved if I don't have the proper and effective prep book. So, if you have any suggestions from prior experiences you've had or experiences someone you know had, please write them down. I've looked at the sticky about prep books for AP exam and Princeton Review seems to be overused. I'm looking for a prep book other than Princeton Review which would guarantee me a five as I hate the prep book series with a passion. It would help if the prep books are easily understandable and are not arduously long.

CliffsAP for English and Princeton review for Calc AB

PR most definitely for Calc AB

I second Princeton Review for Calc AB or BC. But if you really hate it, Peterson has a good rep.

There’s also a thread stickied at the top too :)

(Get a new textbook too if you’re teacher is using Finney/Kennedy’s Calculus Graphical, Numerical, etc. I just hate that book with passion)
