Best Prep Books?

Hi guys! I'm researching prep books, and I've come across various editions and now I'm a tad confused. At the moment, I have:

Kaplan ACT 2014 - Strategies, Practice & Review
Barron's ACT 36 (2009)
Princeton Review Cracking the ACT (2013)
Up Your Score ACT 2014-2015

I have the Real ACT on hold at the library as well. My main question is, what books should I use first? Which one will give me the best score prediction? Are there any others you would recommend?

Finally, what's the difference between the Kaplan ACT and the Kaplan ACT premier?

Thanks so much!

I think you should go with the Real ACT first, but you could obviously check out the others and compare. There’s nothing better than the original/real stuff. I would work on that to help.

Great question though since most of the “best books” threads are about the SAT

Here is my list of what one should have as far as ACT Test prep:

The Real ACT http://www.amazon.com/Real-ACT-3rd-Prep-Guide/dp/0768934400/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416333111&sr=8-1&keywords=ACT+red+book

Boost Your Score Software that will grade your Real ACT practice tests, point out where you need help, and offer study material
http://www.amazon.com/Boost-Score-Unofficial-Software-Guide/dp/B002MS69OE/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1416333311&sr=8-1&keywords=Boost+Your+Score

The Barrons 36 Book
http://www.amazon.com/Barrons-ACT-36-2nd-Edition/dp/0764147056/ref=pd_sim_b_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=0E08X8BA8BX0K2K3RYCE

and finally, this prep book from Applerouth tutoring. It is totally cheesy, but is excellent at prepping for the test.
<a href=“Applerouth Store | Applerouth”>Applerouth Store | Applerouth;

As far as what you should do first–I would review the material in the Barrons 36 book, and the Applerouth book if you get it, and then start taking practice tests. Keep entering your answers in the Boost Your Score software to see where you should focus your studies. Lather, rinse, repeat.
