Best Professors at UCLA??

I am going to be a freshman at UCLA this year and my major is undeclared. Can anyone tell me of any really amazing professors, especially for intro/ GE classes (recommendations of professors who don't teach intro classes are also welcome)? I really want to find the professors who are passionate about teaching and make students want to be in the class. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

[BruinWalk and Rate”>http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/]Rate My Professors](http://www.bruinwalk.com/) will be your best friends throughout college. It is not a stupid thing to take the easy/best and passionate professors in college. Even my AP Calculus teacher in high school told me to look for reviews on professors before you take them because there are bad ones out there.

why they don’t update grades distributions and reviews at Bruinwalk?

And Rate My Professor is rarely rated/uesd by students,

any other choices?

thx

@kfjkfj There’s also recommendations from friends. I was surprised to find Rate My Professor being rarely used by students. It’s a great tool for college.

Take any history class with Teofilo Ruiz. It will be one of the best decisions of your life.

^teo ruiz. A ucla god

EDIT: I’m a History major and after completing a class and an honors contract with UCLA Jesus, I can’t seem to accept the idea that I can’t take all of my major reqs with the almighty Teo.

EDIT EDIT: Oh, and also try to get Lee for MCD BIO 50: Stem Cell Bio, Politics, and Ethics. A great Life Science GE. You study stuff that’s pertinent for our times and for our future, not to mention that it’s an easy A with tons of extra credit opportunities in the exams/midterms. If you hate math/science, that’s alright! As I mentioned, I’m a history major, which means that I’m deep in North Campus territory where things like addition, subtraction, algebra, functions and the like are only vaguely remembered with a hint of disdain. I still enjoyed the class though :)))
