<p>What is the best public residence hall at UT =)
In terms of money, social atmosphere.</p>
<p>I'm trying to figure out which Residence Hall I should sign up for</p>

<p>Ive put Jester as my second preference(after honors) cos it has a computer lab and lots of people. San Jacinto is the best but the most expensive.</p>
<p>I'm not sure that everyone would agree with you on saying San Jac is the best...it is VERY cold and my friends who live there all complain about how few friends they have met living in San Jac. Having said that, I would probably say the honors dorms (Andrews, Blanton, Carothers) are probably the best, followed by prather/moore-hill and maybe some others. Jester is too big to be the best dorm, but can be very fun if you get to know your floormates.</p>
<p>If you can, definitly go for the honors dorms.</p>
<p>I'm just saying San Jacinto is the best from the details available on the website, so take whatever I am saying with a pinch of salt. And yea I was in a dilemma when it came to the choice between moore-hill and jester but I chose jester bcos of the computer lab.</p>

I think I'll choose one of the honors dorms.
I have a spot reserved for me in one of the honors dorms.. since ut awarded me the presidential scholarship</p>
