Best quality of life

Not that surveys are the end-all be-all, but the Princeton Review just named Bowdoin #1 in the category Best Quality of Life. That’s pretty great.

AGREED

My family has loved our time at Bowdoin so much we decided to make Maine our summer vacation spot.

@JoBenny, do you have a student there?

@collegebound752, My son is there.

@jobenny, if you don’t mind sharing, just curious where else your son looked and in the end why he chose Bowdoin?

Not at all. @lr4550. Alot of the usual suspects and he was getting recruited for football so that added to the list. Trinity, CMU, RPI, WPI, U of Rochester, Syracuse, Union, a handful of state schools. We just liked the feeling we got at Bowdoin. Extremely smart kids…you can tell they’re amazing scholars but they don’t seem to take themselves too seriously. Professors and faculty that seem to know them all by name. Very outdoorsy…- love and respect of nature and the outdoors. Sports definitely in the air, but not overwhelming. And you couldn’t ask for a more beautiful backdrop than the coast of Maine. So lovely.
