<p>I'm looking for a dorm that is co-ed, social and has singles. I'm also considering PCH (Private Certified Housing) options but would prefer university housing because of the flexible meal plan. I really appreciate your opinion. Thanks!</p>
<p>As far as dorms go there are a number that are coed (separated by floors) and social but don’t count on getting a single room. You should go to UIUC’s residence hall pages on line and review the dorms and it will tell which are coed. There are some single rooms in the dorms but those are usually taken by upper classman who will be assigned their choice of housing for next year long before freshman are assigned.</p>
