I’m thinking about making a trip to ASU pretty soon and I was wondering what the best and most popular restaurants around ASU were? It be great if I could get some suggestions so I can plan out my trip a little better. The more the merrier. Thanks for the help!

There are a lot of restaurants on Mill avenue(starting at chipotle near gammage and going north from there to places like PF Changs and Chili’s)

Others:
Buffalo Wild wings on Rural
Sal’s pizza on Apache(under the Vue)
Applebees on rural a couple miles south of Apache

I just got back from ASU this weekend, so while I don’t know the best restaurants there, I can share my experience.
Mill Ave is right next to the campus, and there’s something there for everyone. Check this site out to see if anything really piques your interest: [Dining | Mill Avenue District | Downtown Tempe, AZ](http://www.millavenue.com/dining). Apparently it’s THE place to eat, and a lot of the restaurants there accept Sun Dollars if you do become a student.

There are so many options! Also, I’m not sure if you’re 21 because if so, you’ll have even more options.

Canteen on Mill Ave
Rocky Point Cantina off of Rural Rd
Oregano’s on University Dr.
PF Chang’s on Mill Ave
House of Tricks off of Mill Ave
Casey Moore’s on Ash Ave
RA Sushi on Mill

The list goes on and on, check out Yelp for specific reviews!

In addition, I would definitely check out SmashBurger on College, (North of University).
I second Oregano’s on University (which I just found out is an Arizona chain, so if you’re not from around here, it is DEFINITELY worth a try, mmm!)
And Native New Yorker (on Broadway) has delicious bar food. Chuck Box (at University and Myrtle) is also delicious, as well as In-N-Out (on Rural and the 202) if you’re from the East Coast where In-N-Outs are a rarity.
Rock N Roll Fingers (on Rural and Broadway) has THE BEST CHICKEN STRIPS EVER.
