Best Review Book for AP European History

Hey everyone

I'm currently a sophomore in high school, and I'm taking AP European History as my history course this year. It's this time of the year when you've got to start preparing for the AP exam... so I was wondering if you guys know which review book is the best for this course?

I got the McGraw Hill review book for Christmas... entitled "5 Steps to a 5". But I am aware there are a couple of other good review books out there, such as Princeton and Barron's. Just wanted your opinion on which review book is most useful/prepares you in the best way possible.

Thanks.

Excellent choice! The “5 Steps to a 5” series is in my opinion the best companion one can have when studying for the AP tests. I’m going to be self-studying for the AP European History exam and that’s the book to buy.

I’ve never used Barron’s but I do have a few Princeton Review books. They’re okay - not as good as the McGraw Hill variety since I find they give a very cursory overview of the subject matter. If you can find a cheap copy of one of their books, however, it may be worth it just for the practice questions, which tend to be good.

Then again, I only took one diagnostic test before my AP US History exam and I did extremely well on the exam. When it comes to the history exams you just need to know the material.

I like the princeton review book very much, but then I’m only taking it this year.

Hammurabi - please help me!http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/high-school-life/844299-i-cant-get-them-all-worth.html

try rea crash course for the content and then supplement with princeton review for practice questions
