Just wondering what the best way to study for the ap wold history exam. People have told me in the past that barrons was pretty good but im just looking to get more suggestions.

My teacher said 5 Steps to a 5, but I
ve heard Barron
s is also good.

Relevant thread is relevant - I’d like to know as well.

Right now I’m using 5 steps to a 5. Last year for APUSH, I used 5 steps to a 5, and I got a 4, so I thought that was pretty good… :)

Do not use Kaplan.

My teacher recommended Princeton and I used it and got a 5. Although I think it depends on what type of student you are. I procrastinate and didn’t start studying until 4 days before the test so Princeton’s, is shorter than Barron’s and more condensed was better for me because I could not have finished reading Barron’s detailed book on time.

I used flashcards to review quickly before the test. I was horribly sick before the test and they said that I could not make it up later. (The guy who had the same thing as me and threw up during the test got to though. ) The flashcards really helped me. I was one of the only ones who knew what one of the essays was talking about because it was a term on the flashcard (some wrote the entire essay on the wrong thing). It really helps with the general questions and questions about specific people. I got a four (which I think is pretty good considering how sick I was that week and that I only studied two nights before). I think that they were Princeton flashcards. They had a cute little meter to judge how much you had learned depending on how far through the stack you’d gotten.
