PSU has a great summer program. About 2k for 2 weeks.
Boston University has a great summer program:

@Steveo99 might want to be more specific, as there are about 100 PSUs in the country. Plymouth State, Penn State, Portland State, just for starters.
@marg928 okay thanks for letting me know! ya they still havent contacted me at all either way so yes they do seem a bit disorganized haha!!
Based on duration and cost, sounds like @Stevo99 is referring to Penn State. D is attending this Summer, 6/26-7/8.
@owensfolks Ahhh yes I’m sorry! Penn State. My son is headed there also this summer.
Hi, I realize this could be moot…did you already decide on something?
Two points: 1) I’m pretty sure the NWern program (National High School Institute you’re talking about is the same thing sometimes called Cherubs - check again at the top of the website. 2) I visited UNCSA recently & wanted to let you know that the $300 isn’t just an application fee. It’s a deposit. You also don’t need to audition to get in. If they have space when you apply, you’re in. So it isn’t $300 down the drain - it would go toward the summer tuition, which sounds like a good value as these things go. Hope that helps (if not for this summer, then maybe for next). Good luck!
@owensfolks @Stevo99 Oh okay thank you so much for the info! I just checked the website out and it does look AMAZING! Sadly they said the application date is already past but Ill definitely keep this in mind for next year thanks so much for commenting!
@katew529 I have not decided quite yet so thanks for commenting! I didn’t know that that wasn’t an application fee! SO that’s really good to know thank you! I really do like the program but unfortunately the website seems to say its full! But thanks so much for the info anyway I can keep it in mind for next year!
Please let us know what you decide! Good luck. (BTW it sounds like the Northwestern program you were interested in does allow current sophs to apply, at least this year - so I wouldn’t write that off based on people’s comments about traditional Cherubs programs taking only rising seniors.)
@katew529 Oh really!! Okay I didnt know that either! Haha thank you so much thks is really useful info! Ya right now it just doesnt seem like I can find one program thats perfect like length, good reviews, less expensive, teaching the right things etc but Im definitely gonna keep looking!!
You can check out www.TripleArts.com. Programs in NYC (but no room and board) or at Western Carolina University in N. C. Amazing programs. My daughter did the NY program for a few years when she was younger, and did Western Carolina before her senior year. One on one coaching and run by Terrence Mann and wife, Charlotte D’Amboise and other top Broadway talent. Worth looking into. If you can somehow manage to find lodging in NYC, it’s cheaper than many other programs ($1600 for 2 weeks) and they offer scholarships! Highly recommend!
@mazooee Thanks so much for the info!! I had actually looked at that program too bad it doesn’t have board! That’s great to know that it’s such an amazing program though!
@futureactress19 have you heard anything or made a decision?
@Ducky312 Hi! So sorry, I just logged back on after the summer! I got into TPAP, but was too late for the other programs to apply. I couldn’t go to TPAP due to some health and money issues, BUT I did end up going to a week long acting on camera intensive with an absolutely AMAZING place in Chicago! Plus I started doing some work on different tv shows (just as an extra!), so that took up a lot of my time too. I also got a lead role in a local web series soo I actually got to do a lot! Thanks so much everyone for all the info though!!
