Best SAT and ACT prep books (only people who have actually used prep books)

I'm already going to get the Blue Book for the SAT and Red Book for the ACT (only for the practice tests), but I was also wondering which other prep books to get to accompany them in studying. Which books are the most helpful (and in which areas) and what you thought of the books. And optional, what your scores were :) thanks!

I got a superscore of 2370 only using official practice tests, Direct Hits vocab, and Mike Barrett’s Black Book (look it up on amazon)

I liked the tips (I primarily looked at the CR and W ones) in Barron’s for the SAT. The tests were a bit harder than the actual SAT/the Blue Book though. I’d rather not post my scores, but if you want to know, message me, and I’ll tell you.

I used the blue book and did a lot of practice tests and got a 2040. Then, I did absolutely nothing for the next 6 months, went back, and got a 2270…

My first SAT was up ~100 points from my PSAT and I felt a lot more comfortable with it, so I guess I’d recommend the blue book
