Which helped you guys get the best scores? So far I'm looking at a 27 on the ACT and an 1800 on the SAT. (Based on the practice tests.) It'll be my first time taking both (June 2nd for the SAT, and June 9th for the ACT.) I clearly need to improve both of my scores.

Get the Real ACT book: [The Real ACT (CD) 3rd Edition (Real Act Prep Guide):Amazon:Books](http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/0768934400/ref=mp_s_a_1?qid=1337726359&sr=8-1)

I took a full mock ACT with writing in the beginning of the school year (school required it).
I got a 29.

After working through the Real ACT prep book, I got a 34 on the actual test. (Pleasant surprise, I thought I failed the math section because I didn’t even finish the last 5 problems!)

I just bought that at B&N. What about for the SAT?

The Official SAT Guide by the official test makers (The CollegeBoard) is the best for SAT preparation as the official test makers wrote the guide. Of course, other ones like Barron’s and the Princeton Review are also good choices.
