Hi all,

I have searched through many threads on CC about which books to get for practicing for the SAT, and almost everyone has said the Blue Book is the best, but I already have the Blue Book and use it. I am simply looking for 3rd party books for some supplemental practice.

What I am asking is: WHAT ARE THE BEST BOOKS FOR EACH SECTION OTHER THAN THE BLUE BOOK??

Thanks,
PaperchaseAlex

Grubers is good for math for people who score less than 650. If you score higher than 650 go with Dr. Chungs.

Direct Hits is great for vocab. for CR.

I would like to know this as well, it seems everyone seems to say bb is the best and only thing needed. Then I guess all those 2300+ scorers used the BB only huh? yea effin right don’t know why people here keep saying just use BB.

People dont say “just use the BB” they say only use it for the practice tests.

Gruber’s for less than 650 Math Scorers
Chungs for 650 and higher scorers

CR+W

Barron’s 2400 , I am currently using it, and boy is it hard as *****. But it’ll pay off.

Is the regular barrons sat better or the barrons 2400? What’s the difference

Barron2400 is for people for score higher than 2000+ and barron is EVERYTHING.

^ lol…this is hard, because i would want to score over 2000 ( hopefully 1 day) but I want to know everything that’s gonna be on it as well x.x which should I get

What are you scoring right now?

Like low 1700s…I know I’m stupid

That’s not stupid. It’s above average… (:
And with that score I suggest more BB then when you reach 2000+ move to the workbooks.
