Hey. I need to take an SAT class sometime soon. Any recommendations?
Thx!

Self study! Most prep classes are a waste of time anyway.

Self Study.

Ivy Global.

IMO if you had a good schooling before the SAT and you take a few practice tests you’ll be fine. Yeah there are tricks/short cuts but most of them aren’t worth learning.

My friend self-studied for a 2380 on the first try and I self-studied for a 2300 on my second try. Classes are a waste of time and money imo

Prep courses are helpful only for the written section (There was a lot of grade inflation and deflation in the arts courses at my school so I didn’t know who to trust .). It didn’t help for anything else considering the math and critical reading sections are a joke. Don’t even get me started on the subject tests.

I took a class at Elite Prep, downtown Toronto. There were 3 good things about it:

1) Practice tests under real time/conditions
2) Well-covered vocab lists to study from
3) Good feedback on the essays

Apart from that, it didn’t teach me anything I hadn’t learned myself. My score went from a 2060 to a 2260 after the class, though…but I’d also finished junior year and studied a lot better. So take that with a grain of salt.

If you have the time and money, it won’t hurt. But it’s by no means necessary.

I personally go to Sat class. and I’ve been there for about a year or so.
honestly. its not worth your time.
a waste of money, and you can do most of the stuff yourself anyways.
