<p>I heard due to the curve, some SAT dates were better to take then others. Like if less people take it in March then you should take it that day because the curve will have more of an effect on your score. It didn't sound true, but I'm not sure.</p>

<p>i've heard that the spring dates are usually a good bit harder, in terms of the curve. in the fall, EVERYBODY takes it, so the average score is generally lower, making the curve more generous.</p>
<p>the june test last year was the hardest in terms of questions. so you could get more wrong and still keep a high score. but that was because even the best people were missing more.
i think it is a myth. no one test day is going to make your score significantly higher than another one. in relation to everyone else you will be in the same place.</p>
