I always score 750+ on CR and W but my math score is usually around 670-700. I'm looking for a prep book that will help me consistently get 770+ on the math section. Right now i'm looking at the following.

It’s hard to tell when all the reviews on Amazon give 4-5 stars Saying it’s the best thing since sliced bread. From what I have heard the first book you post is seriously for people who are looking to get the problems 18-20 (The hardest on the math sections) but not recommend for people who aren’t looking to try it. But your scores probably point to signs that you might actually benefit from this book.

I have personally used Testprofessors 5 SAT MATH Practice tests in the latest SAT and I am sure it has helped me score around where you are now.

Thanks man. I was also considering the Testprofessors 5 Math tests. But yeah, basically looking to find a book which avoids teaching all the basic introductory math like you’d find in a regular SAT math book and instead zeroes in on the toughest questions of the test for those looking for a near perfect score. If anyone has experience with any of these books, feel free to comment.

Thanks for sharing but that one seems to deal with the SAT math portion as a whole, teaching introductory concepts as well. I guess what I’m saying is I’m looking for a book that will teach me how to attack what people call the level 4 and 5 questions of the tests, which are the ones I miss according to my PSAT scores. What do you guys think?

Then buy the book you first mentioned and you will not be disappointed. If you feel that you have conquered those, move on to the second book. That will be enough. I think.

Yeah, i think that’s what i’ll end up doing. Just wanted to make sure i had to best materials so as to not waste too much time on stuff that wouldn’t be tested.
