Best SAT prep books!

so I just got my scores from the January test and i didn't do as well as i would've liked, so I was wondering what are the best books for practice tests & strategies.

math 800, writing 760 (want bring up to an 800 though), and... 670 on CR :( I can't seem to get out of the 650-720 zone!
So I reallly really need to bring it up to at to at least a 750 by March? I'm willing to practice a ton cause I'm already kinda short on time.

Which books have worked best for you?

(PS I'm equally bad in vocab and the passages.. haha)

Yeah I need help with this too! I have depleted the older BB. Is it worth it to buy the new one? (from my understanding, some of the tests are the same?)

AHHH

oh yeah, i already have the second addition blue book & it’s really good! i didn’t have the old one, so i’m not sure if the tests are the same? but everyone seems to always suggest that book first, so yeah i think it’d be good

The old one and the new one are basically the same.
The second edition has 3 new REAL tests that have were administered a few years ago.
Besides that, nothing is really different.
The practice tests are all that are really good in the Official books.

bump :X i’m going out to buy a book tomorrow so help please! :)

Neil Chyten’s Mastering the SAT is a great book for CR and Writing (I haven’t looked at math but I’m sure it’s effective as well). Your writing grade, especially, will go up into the stratosphere.
