<p>yeah, honestly, sat prep is not worth it. Don't go to Kaplan. It sucked, and it was even more expensive $900.. horrible price and horrible sat prep. Just study on your own and you should do fine</p>
<p>My son just completed a prep class with Testmasters. He thought they did a good job teaching strategies for the CR and writing portions, and that it was especially helpful with a strategy for the essay. They also give out a word list for each SAT date of words that should show up, and the list was surprisingly accurate for the Jan SAT -- it had at least a dozen words from the list. We'll see the real results when the scores come back, though.</p>

<p>I went to PR, I felt that they did a good job. But the thing is not to only depend on PR, you have to work hard yourself too. And if you prep well then a score in excess of 2000 is almost guaranteed.</p>
