best sat question

<p>alright i want to know if taking the sat too many times can hurt you....</p>

<p>I took the sat the first time 520 cr 680 math</p>

<p>2nd time 560 cr and 700 math</p>

<p>I know my 2nd time wasnt great but it was ok, i thought i could do better. I sent in my app with my first and 2nd sat scores, then i put on the application i would be taking it one more time in october, i took it in october and did awful i dont know what happend....</p>

<p>3rd time
420 on reading and like 680 on math
i forget if it was a 420 but it was something awful like that</p>

<p>My application was complete about a week and a half ago, it was complete before they got my third scores which they just got yesterday.</p>

<p>So.......... my best in one sitting is a 1260, but is that 3rd time i took it and got an 1100 going to hurt me??? Also should i take the sats for a fourth time??? I can take it this weekend or in december or not at all, and hope my 1260 holds up.</p>

<p>If you plan to take the test one more time, you may want to try the ACT instead. The next test date is Dec 10 (Nov 4 registration deadline). Prep well and you may get a better score.</p>

<p>Goblue, are you international? If that's the case, your 2nd SAT is fine, and that's the one Michigan will focus on. Stop taking those tests and focus on your school grades instead.</p>
