What list do you guys think is the best to use to prepare for the SAT?

A dictionary

My son swears by the Direct Hits books…

300 Essential Words+Direct Hits+Sparknotes 1000= 0-2 wrong every test :)

Thank you so much!

Change Essential 300 to Essential 500 since Essential 500 is a newer version.

Direct Hits is a must I think

Direct Hits is great! Another good trick is to keep a personal vocab journal using words found on past tests in the Blue Book. Good way to compile a list of level 5 words.

I can vouch for Direct hits. :)

I used Essential 500 new version of Direct Hits, best vocab by far got me an 800 on June knew every single word. Best SAT Vocab book by far!

Got the essential 300 from someone, does it make sense using it until i get 500 or are the words useless?

well in Korea(where I live and study) usually use Word Smart from Princeton Review.
Does anyone use this book? What do you think about Word Smart?
