Best School For Economics

name the top 50 schools for economics in the country

anyone?anyone?

Here’s one list of the “best”:

[NRC Rankings in Economics](NRC Rankings in Economics)

MIT, Chicago, Princeton, Harvard…

LSE, but it isn’t in this country.

Generally, top liberal arts programs have good economics programs - so I’d throw in majority of the Ivies, as well as Stanford, Berkeley. Be sure to make sure that you actually KNOW what economics is, most students go in thinking to learn business skills, but in reality it’s a very different story. Traditonally, strong business schools have good economics programs (UNDERGRAD), but it does NOT work vice versa typically.

Note that even the economics programs in Group 5 are extremely good.
