<p>Harvey Mudd and Illinois aren't surprising, they were always ranked higher in engineering...UNC is a HUUUUUUUGE surprise to me though...I don't believe it..</p>

<p>Mudd isn't a surprise at all.</p>

<p>Harvey Mudd is number two (after CalTech) in future Engineering & Sciences PhDs (by percentage of total graduates), so no surprise on another count.</p>
