Best school for me? Accounting/business hopeful

What are some good schools that I should apply too? About a 92 average, 1920 SAT with no studying. Just took this saturdays SAT, hopefully at least got a 2000.

Bing was my original goal, but Im being told I should shoot higher.
So, accounting/business schools that I shoot for in my range?
Im in New York, and dont want to go much farther than a few hour drive.

Any input is MUCH appreciated.

Well, you’re already in the range for quite a few schools in New York itself: Bard, Sarah Lawrence, Fordham, University of Rochester, Yeshiva…

If you can really get your SAT up to a 2000 (or hopefully even higher), you might even have a chance at NYU Stern, which is one of the most prestigious business programs in the country.

Have you considered any of those?

University of Texas at Austin. If I remember it’s a top 3/5 accounting school according to us world news and report

austin is wayyyy too far for me though :c
my college advisor told me nyu is a target for me, but i would never be able to afford it :(

Hmm. ut is numba one for accounting. There’s pennslyvannia-Wharton. Check out the list: http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-business-schools/accounting-rankings

Try Cornell AEM, it’s selectivity is around Stern’s and better financial aid as well.

Cornell would be great, but I doubt id get it :(

Maybe Boston University, Northeastern, Fordham and Bentley (MA). Best of luck!

What can your parents afford?
Have you calculated your EFC? (Expected Family Contribution).

If you do qualify for FA, then BU, Northeastern, Fordham & Bentley will not meet your need, all schools that are well over $50,000/year.

Unfortunately, despite having seven people in my family my father has too high of an income to get much financial aid.

50000 is definitely way too much. BU/NYU, schools like that are probably out of my range. This is why Binghamton appealed to me so much.

Alfred University (NY), established in 1836.
