Best school for Medicine

Hey Guys, I have an idea. I was wondering wheather we can have a series of threads that discuss specific rankings for specific fields.

Most people would agree that Harvard is the best University overall but an aspiring musician would find that Julliard is far better for his specific field.

So instead of having generic lists I thought we should categorize the rankings some. So that's why I am asking which school do you think is the best for Medicine? (detailed explanations please). Thanks.

ZZZZ!
This is a prep school forum, we are not ready to discuss medical school yet.
Most of people in this forum are middle school students who are preparing for college prep school.

It will be interesting, though.

yeah but i mean like if they offer internships with doctors, special programs, twinning with hospitals, that type of thing it can really help on a college application form if you want to get into a medical school. So it is certainly something to consider.... Also if you are really interrested in medicine and want to persue say some independant research will school A or school B be able to provide you with the neccesary equipment and funding? All of these are questions that can be answered on forums like these.

OK,

I am planning to go to medical school. There are many good medical school. I don;t think I have togo to the best medical school. There are some schools that offer BS/MD program, which means they complete BS and MD program for 6 years instead of common 8 year program. One of them is Brown. But i am thinking about going to pre-med program. medical school is very competitive an donly about 30% of good pre-med program students are admitted to medical school after 4 year college.

I do not worry about those, yet since I am just leaving for Saint Mark's school as a freshman(Third form) the day after tomorrow.

Long way to go---Sad!!
But I am excited about the new school and dorm life now. I can't wait!
