Best school for Neuroscience?

I've decided that I really want to major in Neuroscience, but I'm not quite sure which schools actually have strong neuroscience programs.

Can anyone help me and tell me which schools have high-ranking neuroscience programs?

Emory has great labs and research opportunities.

Neuroscience is often found with or in psychology programs, especially at LACs. Pomona and Davidson have good neuroscience programs, for example.

(cant judge quality of any undergrad program by grad school rankings...)

some LACs with good neuroscience programs:
Bates, Bowdoin, Colby, Colgate, Conn Coll, Kenyon, Middlebury, Pomona, Union, Vassar, Wellesley

some Universities with good neuroscience programs:
Brown, Hopkins, Emory, Michigan. Northwestern, Penn, Texas, UCLA, UVA

Columbia: a couple of Nobelists and a new $200 Million Neuroscience Center coming soon.

Not sure which is best. Here are some possibilities.

I would love to major in neuroscience... whatever school you choose, enjoy it!

I believe UCSD has the top spot in both the NRC and US News rankings for Neuroscience.

For undergrad neuroscience, Yale. MIT, Yale and Caltech generally have the nation's strongest undergraduate science programs.

Not Brown, even though they like to say they have a good program. And Columbia's new neuroscience center gets a lot of media attention, but won't be built for a long time.

Plus the Columbia neuro center is going to be used mostly by grad students i bet. I don't see Undergrads being able to do everything there.
I was at colgate and someone there was talking to me about neuroscience research she's done with the agressive behavior of crawfish and the like.
I'm going to Wesleyan and I plan to major in neuroscience and econ, the kicker is that wes has a tuition free 5th year to get a masters in neuro. It's pretty damn kickass :-)

MIT has several very very strong undergraduate neuroscience programs.
