<p>I live in southern california and I want to pursue veterinarian medicine. I really want to go to UC Davis for undergrad but for vet school as well. And I know that chances of going to UC Davis for undergrad and getting into UC Davis vet school is harder... so I'm wondering would my chances be better if I go to undergrad somewhere else? (and btw, I have yet to hear from UCD yet... I heard its sometimes this week?)</p>
<p>I got into Cal Poly SLO already (major: animal science), and now seriously considering going there for pre-vet program and then aiming for Davis. Is this a better option to ultimately have a better chance to go to UC Davis for vet school? </p>
<p>(and i love the college town atmosphere of both so I don't think I'm gonna miss out much... but it's the diversity thing that makes me a little unsure of Cal Poly...)</p>
