what I prefer in a school.
- i am a massive sports fan, and have a huge draw to school with packed venues. not necessarily good or bad sports, but packed stadiums and arenas is a huge draw.
- great academics, plan to study finance, and would love to mix sports and finance in a future career
- job connections and internship connections is maybe one of the biggest draws for me in a school
- how active the alumni is
- great college atmosphere/ friendly students, great town, dorm atmosphere
- This will sound dumb, and a bad way to view a college, but rankings, and stats are a positive for me, want to go to a school with good rankings, and being recognized for certain programs, and such

What I dont care to much about
- I dont care to much about the enrollment numbers, as long as class sizes are reasonable when your get to your specific majors classes
- Dont care about parking, i prob wont have a care on campus for my first two years at least, unless i go to rider or william paterson.
- Dont factor cost into your choice. Me and my family will go over all the cost, and obviously we will talk about finances and what colleges make sense and such.

What i dont want in a college
- i do not want to go to a school that the majority of the public views as a joke school or a waste of money.
- i know wvu and ohio u are mentioned, but i dont want to go to a school where a party reputation overtakes academics
- Major drawback*- dont want to go to a school where the students themselves view the school as a joke, or dont care about success or getting ahead.

So ive told you want i do and dont like about college, so let me know of those schools would be your top 3 schools, that you would attend or choose between, and which school you would dump from the list. also name a top choice school of the list. thanks for your input, not basing a choice from your answers, just curious though.

Your stats? gpa? classrank? What high school? Where do you live?

University of Alabama – great school spirit, SEC sports, and a large number of top students due to their generous NMF scholarships

Rider University – you said my rankings, and I have a very good friend who goes there. Also solid business program.

WVU – good sports, okay academics. I’d go there and think about transferring if there wasn’t significant academic interest.

stats dont matter, im not asking about aid or anything like that , just giv me your opinions. thanks thsfan345

"- Dont factor cost into your choice. Me and my family will go over all the cost, and obviously we will talk about finances and what colleges make sense and such."

If you have not already had The Big Money Talk with your family, and verified that all of these institutions are affordable now, then any advice we can give you as to the relative merits of A over B is moot.

When you have your financial aid packages in hand, and you and your family have cut your list down to those that remain as viable candidates, then and only then does it make sense to ask “A, or B, or C, or D?”

relax ppl my financial position isnt your business, im asking simple opinion, please stop getting so detailed about the answers, ur reply is more of a poll, not actual input, ive got my order made up. just answer the question based on what information is given.

thanks
