I’m unsure of what I want to major in, but I know I want to work in art and media as a career. It’s been advised to me to have a strong back up plan in case my dreams in art flop so I’d like to apply to “general” colleges that offer strong art programs as well as art colleges like SVA and Parsons.

CUNY Hunter College
Wagner College
NYU
Columbia
I’d like to add more to the list, preferably regular colleges where I can pursue something like practical like business, and a strong art program. Any advice?
What year in high school are you and what are your GPA/test scores/course rigor like? Also, do you qualify for need-based aid or how much is your family able to pay fur undergrad?
CUNY City College of Technology in Brooklyn. I have a friend in a BA program that is a mix of fashion and business, so they at taking fashion and business courses and it also gives them an internship for experience. Maybe you can find a program for media and business so you understand both aspects of it. Website: www.citytech.cuny.edu/
F.I.T Fashion Institute of Technology is also a great and affordable Arts school, but CUNY is slightly cheaper.
