Best Schools For Classical Guitar/Mentoring?

Hi Im looking for great classical guitar colleges. ive been playing guitar since 6th grade and I am now 19 but ive started to look into this major, would love to play and get great information to learn such ways of playing such as John Clarke and Jonn Gomm but merely john Clarke style of playing. I haven't played much jazz pieces but would easily love to get into them but ive been learning and teaching ways of the guitar on my own from finger style picking and strumming. I would love to get into deepen information about the guitar and its different styles of playing. but would love to get information on great colleges for classical guitar and great mentor ways to improve my skills from where to travel and where to get mentors of its teachings. I do play much songs to j.s bach suit no.1 prelude, Jerusalem of gold, Aurora Borealis and the most evolved by (john Clarke). I don't know how or where to begin with this post but would appreciate and except any advice to help me go the right direction for my passion of classical guitar. Thanks for your help - Mario

How much actual study of classical guitar have you had- in other words, have you had formal lessons? Passion is a great thing, and you have to have that- but the good conservatories with the best teachers are highly competitive and many pre-screen.
Give us some idea of the training you’ve had, please.

In my experience, learning to play classical guitar takes at least a few years with a teacher, who often begins with “studies” or"etudes" to build foundational skills. You do not absolutely need to go to a music school or conservatory or even a college to do this. You can get a teacher and do lessons. They are expensive, unfortunately, at least over time. A good place to look for a teacher might be a local university or music school, or you can decide to live nearer a conservatory and take lessons through a continuing education program or privately. The University of Nevada has a classical guitar series and may have a teacher. Also, here is a wonderful teacher I found online in your area: <a href=“Columbian Classical Guitarist | Ricardo Cobo”>http://www.ricardocobo.com/biography/</a> Good luck!
