so what are they?

UNC
Northwestern
USC
Berkeley

I'm sure there are some others. I know the University of Arizona was voted for having the #1 college newspaper last year, if that says anything about their journalism school.

how about best schools for journalism that i could get into
w/a 3.75 gpa, 31 act, and sparse ecs (editor in chief of school paper, VP of interact club, varsity sport)?

Boston University, Emerson College

ohio university-athens

Wisconsin-Madison

UNC
Northwestern

Missouri - Columbia is the best, ask any journalist.

My friend just got in to there very competitive program with alightly worse (3.4/30) stats. They are very numbers driven.

Seriously, no program is better, Northwestern is close but not as good. Syracuse is also amazing if you are looking at broadcast.

Ohio U will likely pay you for those stats too. I would check it out.

thanks for all the help! i was thinking about more of the design/writing aspect of journalism...would these schools be good for that? or are they predominantly for broadcasting?

Missouri, seriously

Missouri (Mizzou) top three. And you could pull a good amount of money out of them with your stats.

Northwestern - Medill School Of Journalism!!!

How can you all forget Syracuse-Newhouse?!?! One of the best around!!! But good luck getting in, average HS GPA was a 3.9 for this year's incoming class.

wow, thanks for all the feedback!
would anyone know of a website w/rankings of journalism schools?
