Spring admits may not need to have as strong stats as fall admits at some colleges because they don’t count in their accepted student stats. For that reason, spring admits may not get as much aid as those admitted in the fall. Are you full pay or do you need aid?
Being a spring admit is often a big negative socially. Schools tend to have all of their Welcome activities in the fall and freshmen make new friends then.
I would avoid being a spring admit and as @austinmshauri says, spring admits often get worse aid.
Some schools have specific programs where they accept students who applied for fall admissions to the spring semester. Often those schools have programs to help these students integrate into the school and the student body. Other than with an organized program like this (which is still not ideal), I think it could be difficult to arrive on campus for the spring semester.
