I'm actually a service academy hopeful next year but even if I don't get accepted, I want to transfer out of the state college. I heard UPenn having a nice transfer rate, Harvard/Yale being impossible, and Princeton not even accepting any transfer apps. Could anyone please shed light on this? Thx.

If you go onto the collegeboard website and look up the individual college, go to the admissions page and it tells you the # of apps and the # of acceptances (for transfer students). Don't know how up-to-date it is, but it might give you a ball park #.

What schools are you looking at? I could get all the data for you if you'd like.

If you wouldn't mind, I'd like information for UChicago, UPenn, Brown, Cornell, and Rice. Thanks.

Penn 21%
Brown 27%
Cornell 33%
Rice 26%
