Best schools with Film majors?

<p>the denissman kid was asking about Cooper in other thread, I assume what he meant was “artsy-artsy” stuff.
I did internship at scenic shop before and totally utterly agree with your " employable skill" " Renaissance man" argument from this and other thread I read.
seeing those people knows what they are doing, how to utilize tools big and small, teamwork, never late or lazy, never eat nor drink near where their works are spread out, how they’d seal pigments and label everything, it was eye opening, astonishing, awe-inspiring after dealing at my theater day job so-called highly educated morons mess up simple tasks and blame everyone and everything else.
But
what I learned was that, the designer guy doodle few sketches and slap few swatches earn X 20 more per project than the very best craftsman who is in the business 30-plus years.
why? I wish I know.
my take is that, going to those hi-mighty school with hi-mighty connection while young and cute and formidable (on the surface at least) does something special to certain people that set them apart from the rest.
they don’t need to know how to count screws or prime wood. they know where to find people good at those things and how to make them happily work for them, then take all the credit.</p>

<p>It is nice to give advice to yougum’s and their proud parents according to your own experience, I do that all the time. but the world these kids are gonna face is never the same as yours have been.
I’m more interested in why you decided to go back to school after all these years, and what are you going to do from now?
what is your ultimate goal?</p>
