What would be the best score if for writing I wrote a decent essay, for math I didn't answer 5 questions and got 10 wrong, and for reading I didn't answer 3 questions and got 10 wrong?

Dunno about the writing… but math would be around 570-600… CR would be around 630-660

Yeah lobzz sounds about right for Math and CR. For a better score opinion on writing, give more info about how you did on the Writing/Grammar Multiple Choice.

Really depends on the test, but I found this online:

[2007-08 SAT Official Practice Test raw to scaled score conversion tables : SAT Tutor’s Blog](http://www.sat-tutors-blog.com/2008/1/27/2007-08-sat-official-practice-test-raw-to-scaled-score-conversion-tables/)

So considering that you don’t gain any points for omitted questions and you lose 1/4 of a point for wrong answers:

Let’s say the highest possible raw score, like on this website, for the math is a 54. You answered 39 questions correctly. Subtract 2.5 points from that (10 wrong questions /4), and you get 36.5. They round up to the nearest point – so your raw score would be 37. According to this scale, you’d have a 600. So I say that Lobzz estimation is right – the score will likely vary depending on the test’s difficulty, but somewhere in the high 500s/low 600s is expected.

As for the CR, if the top raw score is 67 and you answered 54 correctly, then subtract 2.5 for the number wrong and round – that’s 52, which corresponds to a scaled score of 650. Good lord, Lobzz, right on target again :D

As far as the writing, as was said you are very vague - give us estimates like you did for the other sections.
