The AP European History course at my school is notoriously underwhelming, yet many upcoming seniors are taking it. What books would be helpful in trying to learn the AP Euro material? (PR, REA, etc)

MEH
AP Achiever
Crash Course

don’t buy anything else.

Get the Crash Course – I had a pretty good Euro course/teacher and I was naturally inclined to enjoy/retain the material, but the Crash Course was, if nothing else, an excellent review about a month before the exam.

PR and Crash Course were my combo, and I found them to be successful! (Got a 5)

Although I never really used it a lot, you should use Crash Course. I’m not saying you have to, but however much you value my opinion, I recommend it. I got a 5, but don’t let that sway your decision. Pick a book that fits you. If you order online, go through the free preview or go to a bookstore (yes they exist) and flip through the ones you might wanna purchase. It only helps you if you want to use it, and you like it. Teachers and other people like me can give you crap about which book to choose, but they’re all basically the same. They want you to get a 5 on the AP test, so go ahead, test the waters of review books!
