<p>Can anyone recommend a good SFS professor that teaches an intro-level class? I am particularly interested in Arabic, Spanish, Econ, or any of the proseminar classes.</p>
<p>There are no SFS specific profs per se for Arabic, Spanish or ECON. You’ll be taking those intro classes with other students from the MSB, COL, etc. Most of the Prosem profs are experts in their field and provide a rather phenomenal introduction into the SFS. Admittedly, economics isn’t really my thing but I am so glad that I took a proseminar that was a bit out of my comfort zone (don’t be afraid to do that). I took Politics of International Economy with Dr. Newman and learned A LOT. He is a pretty amazing guy and I highly recommend the class!</p>
