What are the best stylish yet comfortable shoes for college? I was thinking about getting sneakers that I can wear a lot in the fall, but I want them to be good for all the walking I’ll have to do. What are your staple college shoes? vans vs. keds vs. converse? what about sperrys? Any advice appreciated 
Anything that is comfortable for you to walk (or run) in.
I usually wear vans or converse ! However, many people don’t find those comfortable. If you like them, try them out in a long walk, see how they feel, then decide.
Nikes are really popular on my campus. I usually wear TOMS (very comfortable) or riding boots.
I pretty much just wear whatever shoes I end up buying when I need a new pair of shoes.
I really don’t think getting shoes “for college” is in any way distinct from getting shoes in general. Get whatever is comfortable and you enjoy wearing.

@dopamine17, I’m a HS senior but I own a pair of Vans and have to say they’re pretty comfortable for walking.
I love my Vans. Also get a nice comfy pair of snow boots if you’ll be somewhere with winter.
I have the brown/khaki OTW Ludlow (herringbone) shoes, by the way.
@dopamine17 - My TOMS (I own like 9 pairs) are easily the most comfortable shoes I own; and I do a lot of walking. I’d definitely recommend getting a pair - at some stores, you can get “unconventional” colors or patterns on clearance for less than 20 bucks.
I wear toms- like shoes everyday. I have a bunch of pairs of them. I also am a tour guide and use them daily to walk on my tours and I’m on my feet at my job. Those are definitely my go to. I also have a pair of Tims for the winter, a pair of uggs, a few flats for more formal occasions, flip flops and a pair of rainboots (and cheap sneakers for the gym)
I switch between converse and sperrys daily (wearing the same shoes everyday will make them stink).
I have a pair of dress shoes, free runs (for working out), and jordans (for basketball).
I’ve noticed that at my school, sperrys are very popular. new balance is popular among male greeks, and chacos are popular among female greeks. jesus sandals have also been increasing in popularity lately as well.
