Best Tasting Water

Most botteled water taste the same to me but... I HATE dasani!! I just can't drink it!

I'm pretty picky about tap water, even though I like it better usually.

Dasani is filtered european tap water.

No, it's filtered water from the Chattahoochie in Atlanta (which is pretty damn dirty).

Which is why I refuse to buy it. Why buy it when I already get it for free?

Have any of you seen Penn and Teller's "********"?

They had an episode of bottled vs. tapped water, seeing if there was a difference.

They took several fancy bottles, filled them with tap water from a hose, and overpriced them. They got a large group of participants to try the water, and sure enough, there was preference, "pickiness", and "conoseurs" finding differences in the water. REMEMBER, though, ALL THE WATER CAME FROM THE SAME SOURCE. Proves that the bottled vs. tapped thing is more psycological. Also, they had people try NYC water vs. Evian. Well, NYC got about 60% of the win vote.

lol...DUH!

what about: what is the WORST tasting water?

well water near sulfur deposits?

Crystal Geyser

personally, my favorite water has got to be perrier, in the glass bottle, not the plastic one.

I got addicted to this stuff becuase it was the only sparkling water that my student store (at swarthmore) offered (I got it for free with the meal plan). Now I pay WAY too much for it since I am addicted!

Speaking of chemicals...my small super liberal town just had a vote about whether or not flouride should be removed from our tap water. It was a super dirty campaign with tons of activism. Anyway, it was voted down, THANK GOD. As the daughter of a doctor, I will keep flouride in my water, thankyouverymuch.

My favorites are Aquafina and Fiji.

NYC tap water,

also the reason the food is so good in NYC.</p>

firewalker your nutz, IVE BEEN ALL AROUND THE COUNTRY, NOTHING TASTES LIKE HOME.

Ive been "all around the country" as well...it's the same s hit everywhere.

And if you think the WATER is the inherent factor in tasty NYC food...rotflmfao.

Crystal geyser sucks also. But I still hate arrowhead. They have this yucky taste I don't like

firewalker, your wrong different people taste different things , maybe your taste is not your strongest sense, though I can clearly taste a difference and all water has tasted different everywhere I have gone. Its been proven that the type of water and the mineral consistency really makes difference in the good.

but im glad you are one of those people who go to NYU and please stay there, you people are freaks and belong together,

UB-Vinny,

Mineral content does affect water taste, but there's also evidence (anecdotal and otherwise) that suggests that there's a certain psychosomatic (for a lack of a better word) factor involved.

Sewer water.

^ I once swam in it - no kidding

evian is by far the best. nuff said

Bottled water in general tastes weird to me. I like water from my refrigerator dispenser. :)

I love Fiji and Dasani!!! Zephryhills is good too.
