What's the best theater club at Dartmouth?

I am happy to tell you that there are a number of great theater groups and performance opportunities at Dartmouth.

We have two improv groups, Casual Thursday and the Dog Day Players, who regularly perform all over campus. Although Casual Thursday was only established a couple of years ago, I tend to enjoy them more.

Wired is a once a term event in which students write, direct, and act in plays all in 24 hours. The writers and directors are selected ahead of time, but everyone who shows up to act gets a part.

Once a term there is also a 10 minute play festival with plays written, directed, and performed by students. There is also a one-act play festival but these aren't written by students. Anyone can audition for most of these plays too. I think these festivals may be organized by the Displaced Theater Company, but I'm not sure.

If you are interested in performing regularly, I'd recommend auditioning for either Casual Thursday or Dog Day Players.
