<p>Okay, so, tell me why you are at Carnegie Mellon. What makes this school so special?</p>
<p>Only list 1? I made a huge list/post about why I liked it a while ago but if I guess the BEST thing is the job network and opportunities Carnegie Mellon hooks you up with.</p>
<p>I didn't know that about CMU. I'm gonna need a job BADLY. Do you need a car to get to alot of these jobs? And could you give me a sample of what some of the jobs pay. Working at the information desk, for example.</p>
<p>Son worked for a short time during summer before internship started----in UCenter handing out towels etc for pool and gym. I believe there are plenty of on-campus jobs.</p>
<p>He got $10/hour.</p>
<p>Flying: I was talking about post-grad but there are a lot of employment opportunities in Pitts. People work at restaurants, stores (Banana republic) and the work studies include admissions office paper filing, door security, etc.</p>
