Son would be freshman Aug 2019. NMSF, pending NMF. Already accepted to UA, but has not visited yet. Still considering other schools too. Recommendations on best month/time to visit? Want to be there while normal classes are in session.
Spring in Alabama is really beautiful. Fall is great too. The leaves are still turning even now.
If you can’t get there before finals start, wait until classes are back in session in January. We visited the 3rd week of January and it was fine. Weather was a bit cool but the amazing campus vibe was still there!
We did our visit when school was not in session. It was cloudy and 22 degrees in December. That said, my Bama grad son felt that served him well. If you like the campus when it is not nice outside, you will love it when it is warm and the trees are in bloom.
