<p>Depends on what subject test you’re taking. It’s preferable to take the test soon after you’re done with the class.</p>
<p>Yeah, if your talking about the subject test, then I would say the June test. That’s what I did so that it would be after my AP test and I’d just finished the class.
Like you I’m a rising Junior. I plan to take the regular SAT in December. But that’s because I’m in a prep program for it and the program ends right before the December test.
I think that taking it for the first time is best at the begining of the second semester or earlier of the junior year because if you have time to get your scores and then prep for months before you take it again.
I only want to take it twice so I’m thinking in December and then again in June. Hopefully my scores will be good enough to not have to worry about it anymore after that, so i can focus just on college apps.</p>
